Pics of your .458WM's

I am a big .458WM fan and though I think I have what I want and need, I'd love to see pics of your 458's. I am especially interested in shorter and lighter builds. Any thoughts or reflections on your guns are also appreciated. I have posted one of mine that I bought here, but I don't have a current pic. I took the RDS off and am looking for a good full time rear ghost ring now, since the gunsmith I took it to messed up every aspect he possibly could, including the rear peep backup.

What did you get yourself for Christmas?

McBride’s Guns in central Austin, the gun shop I grew up in, recently sold and will change ownership in February. Sad days for me… Many hours I’ve spent in that shop and around the McBride family.

I drove down this morning with a card and some treats for Joe and see if I could find a fitting gun to make as my last purchase before the new owners take over. Came home with a used Taylor’s Uberti Winchester Model ‘66 in .38 Special, with scabbard. Should be a ton of fun to shoot...

What Are the 3–5 Most Challenging Parts of Booking an International Hunt?

I’m curious to hear from guys who have hunted internationally — Africa, Asia, Europe, South America, South Pacific — anywhere outside your home country.

Sectional Density - Desert Dog

I generally find this guy to be entertaining, and somewhat knowledgeable. I have found myself disagreeing with him on a handful of occasions, and this is certainly one of them. I am a believer in sectional density, but I guess he thinks it's bullshit. What do you think? Video below:
