416 Bullet Selection
I have just finished a 20” 416 Ruger Build. I’m trying to decide on loading for Buffalo Hunt as DG. Looking at Buffalo Bore I see they offer 350 Barnes for Softs and 350 Solids. JES Rebore
Looking to get my model 70 Rebored to 35 Whelen, it’s a classic sporter and I’d rather keep the factory Winchester nomenclature than rebarrel it.
I’m curious if anyone has pictures of how to go about the caliber designation.
I’ve read elsewhere that guys have sanded off the factory designation, it gets re stamped and then just touched up with cold bluing.
If anyone has pictures of this I’d love to see them.
Thanks
